Michael John Holme is a Mancunian writer/author. He quickly specialised in poetry, but has written prose titles such as "I am", "Three promises" and "The Exit Hell Organisation Blogs", amongst others.

He moved to Manchester in 1997, the year he began writing. His first piece was in fact his roman a clef, but in 2000 he began to study poetry with Alison Chisholm (previously) of the Writers Bureau.

Many of his poems have been publish. Most of them have been self-published too. You can find some of his online successes with google searches such as "michael holme poem" or "michael holme poetry".
